Scripture: Ruth 1:1-18 (NIV)
What a powerful sermon! Pastor Gordon patiently reminded us that God has a purpose for each of us. It is appointed and assigned. He posited that we have to remember that our decisions help determine our future and that we have to surrender our past to embrace our future.
The following points were shared:

Your destiny is not tied to the ones that walk, but to the ones who stay.

You have to be at the right place at the right time

Quit running after your bozo and wait on GOD to send you your Boaz.

Sermon Title: You Are a Winner!
Scripture: Romans 8:31-39

“What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? “
Okay, so with a sermon that begins with the above scripture, you have to listen, take out paper and pen, and then write notes. Pastor G had visitors posting and texting their family and friends on the dynamic sermon he delivered. He reminded us that scripture says we are more than conquerors. And, if God is for us, who can be against us.
I sure hope you were able to hear this powerful message. We at TLC hope and pray that if you heard the sermon, you heard a word from the Lord. Now, we also hope that you will join us each Sunday at 10:00 AM. Sermon Title: Putting It All On The Line
Scripture: 2 Corinthians 6:1-10

1. This is a joint venture – not a solo act!
2. Challenges come with the territory!
3. With every negative twist – God has a positive turn!
The question we ask before a sermon is simply this: “Is there a word from the Lord?” Well, suffice it to say, that there was definitely a word for the Lord shared with us on last Sunday. It was a reminder that we all face challenges, but we are never alone. No matter what you are going through, God is always there. Basically, life is filled with challenges and we don’t know what is going to happen on tomorrow. BUT, we can relax and have faith because we do know WHO HOLDS TOMORROW!
If you were there, you feel me. If you weren’t, well, come on and join us. As usual, we at TLC hope and pray that if you are being blessed by the powerful messages from God. And, once again, we also hope that you will join us each Sunday at 10:00 AM.

The word was powerful. (Watch it on our Facebook page.) As mentioned on last week the question we ask before a sermon is simply this: “Is there a word from the Lord”. Well, once and again there was! When you hear a sermon that makes you reflect on the life you are living, in the name of God, it can sit in your heart and allow you to be more kind and caring. This one did.
