A WORD FROM THE LORD: Saints, we were blessed by the presence and the word of Rev. Herbert Brisbon, III of Jerusalem – Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church in Rockville, MD.
Rev. Brisbon delivered a powerful message from Job 1:6-2:3. He left us with the following points:

GET OUT AND VOTE: Early voting ends Friday, November 2. Election day is Tuesday, November 6. All registered voters should make plans this week to prayerfully consider the candidates and issues and vote. Get polling information for Dallas and Tarrant counties here and here. (Parents of children in Dallas ISD should also be informed on ballot issues.)

AIN’T NO PARTY LIKE A HOLY GHOST PARTY: Worship and celebration were on our minds and hearts Sunday during Pastor G's inspiring message about what our church can become when we meet people where they are and open our doors to the lost. Drawing on themes in "The Lost Sheep" parable in Luke 15:1-10, Pastor G reminds us that Jesus Christ longs to have a relationship with seekers and celebrates a seeking church -- especially a church that seeks Him! And like the angels in Heaven, we, too, should celebrate "every time one lost soul turns to God." (Watch the video from Facebook Live.)

BEING LOST & WILD: Last Sunday, Senior Pastor Tyrone Gordon examined the classic "Parable of the Lost Son" (Luke 15:11-24), using Jesus' teaching as a reminder of how each one of us often gets "lost" on our own journey.
