The Preached Word - Minister Sherry Flewellen-Ervin
Sermon Title: The Lord Is Our Great “I AM”
Scripture: Psalm 23:1, 3-4 NIV
​
Sunday’s sermon was the 23rd Psalm in detail. Minister Sherry told us she was a little nervous, but you couldn’t tell.
​
"The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. … He refreshes my soul. Even though I walk through the valley of the darkest valley I will fear no evil, for you are with me."
​
When we trust in God, we lack nothing. Minister Sherry reminded us that God is the Great I AM! Her three points were:
​
1. The Lord is our great “I AM.”
2. The Lord Renews Us
3. The Lord is our Light during our darkest journeys.
​
Minister Sherry broke it down and made it understandable. Because God is our Great I Am:

He is our Guide
-
He is our Protector
-
He is our Provider
-
He is our Mind Regulator
-
He is our Comforter
-
He is our Piece of Bread
-
He is our Something to Hold On To
