In Matthew 5:38-48, Jesus tells us we should not live by the motto of "eye for eye, tooth for tooth," but we should "love our enemies and pray for those who persecute you."

Pastor Gordon taught us this past Sunday that living to get revenge or having hatred allows a destructive power over us, but Jesus has revealed the laws for us to heal.

Pastor Wright did a fantastic job bringing the Word last Sunday. His message came from 1 Samuel 30: 1-10. When David and his men returned to their village and found the women gone, he asked the Lord: “Shall I pursue after this troop? shall I overtake them? And he answered him, Pursue: for thou shalt surely overtake them, and without fail recover all.”

3. Restore
He said “Go get it!” We have to pursue, overtake and allow our lives to be restore through Christ.

Scripture: 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
Pastor Gordon addressed what many feel during this time in our lives: “It’s Been Hard to Give Thanks!” As the world learns to deal with what is causing us to make unprecedented changes in how we live and worship, sometimes it’s hard to give thanks. Yet, Pastor reminds us, we need to pray while we are IN it. Let’s continue to give thanks, pray for one another and remember God’s word in 2Chronicles 7:14:
“if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”

1. Rejoice Unceasingly!
2. Pray Constantly!
3. Give Thanks Continually!
