Sermon Title: “You Done Lost Your Mind!”

So often - and by ‘so often’ I mean all the time, Pastor G showers us with a word from the Lord that is so fitting a good shout is in order. This past Sunday Pastor preached on the subject of having a “Jesus’ Mind”. He suggested that when you start to think and act like Jesus people will develop a false impression of you. “The source of your power will be misunderstood…What we can’t explain, or understand, we condemn or dismiss”. The three points of contemplation are:

When You Have Jesus’ Mind:
1. Some will develop false impressions of you!
2. Some will misunderstand the source of your power!
3. You will develop unbreakable ties!
“Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus…” - Philippians 2:5

Sermon Title: “You Will Survive This!”

“You are either going through a storm, in the middle of a storm, or just got out of a storm…” Pastor Gordon’s message was clear, no matter what the situation, “You will survive this!” He reminded us that although the winds may be gentle at times it can, and will, SHIFT. Then he shared the following three points:
​
1. MAKE NECESSARY PREPARATIONS FOR A WIND SHIFT!
2. THROW SOME THINGS OVERBOARD!
3. FLEX YOUR FAITH MUSCLES!
​
Remember, prepare for the storm and take nothing at face value.

Sermon Title: “Don’t Worry, Be Happy !”
Pastor Valrie brought an awesome message this past Sunday. She began with Isaiah 44:6 – “Thus says the Lord, the King of Israel, and his Redeemer, the Lord of hosts: I am the first and I am the last; besides me there is no god.” The three points she shared were true, timely, and easy to understand:
1. REMEMBER I AM, THAT I AM!
2. KNOW THAT THEY AIN’T BECAUSE THEY CAN’T!
3. BELIEVE IN MY UNCONDITIONAL LOVE FOR YOU!
If we take these points to heart, and remember who our God is, then we WON’T waste time worrying and happiness is ours to claim. Pastor V put her own special talent of teaching God’s word to work.

Scripture: Romans 2:1-6 (The Message)

“Those people are on a dark spiral downward. But if you think that leaves you on the high ground where you can point your finger at others, think again. Every time you criticize someone, you condemn yourself.”
​
Transforming Life Christian Fellowship’s motto says: “Where you won’t be judged, but unconditionally loved!” On Sunday Pastor G went in! Basically, some of us are so heavenly minded, we are of no earthly good. We spend way too much time doing what he called ‘judgmental criticism’ – condemning ourselves in the process.
The three points, or takeaways, from this powerful message were:
1. We’re all rowing in the same boat!
2. We’re not judging but loving!
3. We’re not excluding but including!
