Sermon Title: ADVENT - It’s On the Way!
Scripture: Jeremiah 33:14-16

Pastor Gordon preached a timely sermon this past Sunday. He reminded us of the following: This is the season of advent. The Christian Year begins with Advent because it’s the season of expectation and anticipation.
Then to top it off, he preached from Jeremiah 33:14-16. It was a good word. It was about God keeping his promise.
‘The days are coming,’ declares the Lord, ‘when I will fulfill the good promise I made to the house of Israel and to the house of Judah. – Jeremiah 33:14
The three take away points are as follows:
1. God spoke it!
2. God moves us towards it!
3. God ensures it!

Advent Season Continues!

Advent is a season of the liturgical year observed in Christian churches around the world as a time of expectation and preparation for both the celebration of the Nativity of Jesus at Christmas and the return of Jesus at the Second Coming.

Sermon Title: Advent - The Last Shall Be First
Scripture: Luke 2:6-12, 15-18 & Luke 13:30
This past Sunday is definitely one to remember. Pastor Deborah, in her usual teaching/preaching style, gave us a word that was filled with timeliness, was thought provoking and informative. In other words, she preached a great sermon! Following are three salient points from her sermon:
1. Admission or Inclusion is Conditional
2. God is Not Moved, nor Impressed by Trophies, Medals, nor Lineage.
3. God's Grace is Non-negotiable and Cannot be Compromised
As always, Pastor Deborah invited us to look at scripture with a sense of discovery.
